Not that anyone asked me, but for people interested in westerns I have a few recommendations. Tombstone (gif related), High Noon, Jeremiah Johnson, True Grit (either version, or preferably both), and pretty much any Eastwood western, such as The Outlaw Josie Wales or Two Mules for Sister Sara.
Tombstone is about Wyatt Earp taking down the Cowboys (OK Corral shootout is included), High Noon pits Gary Cooper against an outlaw gang despite the townspeople being to cowardly to fight alongside him (They say every president up to W Bush screened High Noon at the White House), Jeremiah Johnson is about a former solider attempting to live a peaceful life in the mountains out west (super recommend this one, just because it has one of my favorite scenes in a western involving hip-firing rifles), and True Grit has a young girl attempting to bring her father’s killer to justice with the aid of a crusty old Marshal (Jeff Bridges or John Wayne depending on the version).
Any Eastwood western is about the main character going Full Fucking Eastwood, no further description necessary. Also, just because I don’t think it gets enough love, be sure to watch For a Few Dollars More from the Man with No Name Trilogy.
Lastly, I’d also recommend No Country for Old Men as a modern western. Hell, I’d recommend it period. It’s about drug money, inevitability, and friendos.
